The team at Puxton Park Falconry centre are passionate about promoting conservation and the history of falconry and here at the centre we not only aim to educate visitors but give them a greater insight and understanding of birds of prey. We hope that by raising public awareness of the needs and habitats of birds of prey through centres such as ours, we can all play a part in the preservation of these fine creatures to enrich the lives of future generations. 21st - 22nd January.  Grand Pier, Marine ParadeTwo Bays Tough Ten
The Popular 10 Mile Multi-Terrain Race Returns! A 10 mile course containing sections of beach in Weston Bay and Sand Bay, promenade, closed tarmac roads, along with some semi-moorland at the National Trust headland at Sand Point. Before arriving back at Weston Bay runners can enjoy the testing trails within Worlebury Woods. In parts it is flat and fast - in others there are challenging climbs and long down hill sections. Most compete in ordinary running shoes but there will be mud! 5th February. Grand Pier, Marine Parade, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 1AL. Details
