Penfold Plastics Ltd is a family business who has been recycling windows since 1985. We originally started out recycling aluminium windows as scrap metal then when the industry changed to PVC we also moved our focus as well to recycle PVC. We cover and collect from PVC window fabricators all around the country from Exeter across to Essex and all the way up to the Manchester area.

We provide roll on roll off container collection services complete with fast service turnaround and tip loading skips to PVC window fabricators. With this we can collect post-industrial PVC waste and provide a fully traceable recycling solution for your waste PVC material.

As well being fully registered with the Environment Agency to deal with your PVC waste we are also a fully registered company of the Recovinyl scheme. This scheme has worked to increase the number of recycled windows reused in production since its inception in 2003. This has resulted in a dramatic increase in the number of post consumer window frames sent for recycling and not thrown into landfill.

At Penfold Plastics Ltd we recycle most of the factory grade scrap which we can produce from the making of uPVC windows.

PVC Offcuts
This is the main type of product which we collect and recycle from fabricators who choose us as there recycling solution. This by-product in making a uPVC window can easily be recycled back into a high grade product.

PVC Bar length scrap
We also provide a service to collect any old stock bar length scrap either in large 6m stillages or arrangements can be made to load into large containers. This saves time having to cut up the material in order to fit in into small containers or cages.

PVC Headwaste
For systems company who are making profiles and extrusions can offer the facilities to collect and process your end of line headwaste or rejected products for recycling. This is often done through the use of the large container collection system delivered and collected at your works.
PVC Regrind and Powders

For other PVC recyclers and processors we can offer competitive prices on various grades of PVC regrinds and powders. We have developed in-house processes specially to deal with and clean a wide variety of different grades of PVC. We would be happy to discuss your needs and requirements.

From the uPVC waste we collect we produce a selection of different grades of uPVC regrind which can be re-extruded back into new products from paint rollers to pipe and even to new windows.

White uPVC regrinds
This is our primary production product, it is pre-sorted then granulated down. We can attain a high grade of white regrind PVC-u though our advanced sorting equipment utilising metal detection and separation, colour sorting and removal and several fines extraction processes. This results in a very clean dust free white PVC-u product suitable for extrusion into a high quality end product.

Jazz uPVC regrinds
Another one of our primary products is our mixed colour uPVC regrind, commonly called 'Jazz' in the industry. This goes thought many of the same process as our white regrind does and is metal detected and dust extracted to the same high standard, minus the colour separation process of course.
PVC powders and pulvers

One of our secondary products we come across in this industry is PVC-u in its purer form of powder. We deal with a wide verity of powders. More details of what we currently have in stock are available on request.
