Welcome to November Whats on Bristol Magazine

It may well feel chilly out there but here at Whats on Bristol we’re all of a glow as we warmly welcome you to the penultimate edition of the year, the naughty but oh-so-nice November issue of Bristol’s premier entertainment guide.

Well, October was been a very busy month for us. We have been totally spooked out by the amazing Halloween events in Bristol and Weston last month, there have been some real highlights and we certainly enjoyed seeing everyone out and about in their lovely costumes!

And if you thought this month was busy, just look at what November has in store. We’ve got all the family fun of the fireworks and bonfire displays to enjoy, read on further in the magazine for further details.

Winter may well have us in its clutches but it doesn’t mean that all is gloomy, just the opposite in fact as with the party season just a few short weeks away there’s a real buzz in the air as people begin to plan and look forward to the celebrations at the end of next month.

With a dazzling choice of entertainment and suggestions, this month we bring you some superb festive features which include Christmas parties, Pantomimes, Carnival, Christmas Light Switch-ons and a great Christmas Gift Guide.

Welcome back, Icescape at the Tropicana this Winter! The iconic Tropicana’s outdoor arena on the seafront at Weston-super-Mare will be transformed once again into a spectacular winter wonderland, where friends and families can skate on the UK’s largest covered winter ice rink.

The Bristol Christmas Market returns on the 3rd November. Located in the very heart of Bristol City Centre, the Christmas market is home to over 35 unique stalls, as well as entertainment and visits from Santa and his elves. Visitors can enjoy delicious drinks and live music in our warm Jäger Barn Bar or you can book one of our private Igloos or Gondolas to escape the bustle of the Market for a while.

A little birdy has told me that the Whats On Team will be out in force as part of the Weston Super Mare Carnival this November, also at bonfire nights and Christmas light switch-ons. Look out for them and have your photo taken to be in with the chance of winning £75 in our Out and About competition.

All this plus the usual round-up of attractions, restaurants, good food pubs, recipes, and much, much more and as usual, we’ve got it well and truly covered.

So if November makes you feel like curling up in the warm for a bit of TLC, we suggest you do it style with your very own copy of Whats on Bristol to keep you in the know.
